Kathy Stiell MSW, RSWMarriage and Family Therapist
Kathy has a Masters in Social Work and is a Registered Social Worker and a Registered Marital and Family Therapist with over 25 years experience.
Kathy is a dedicated and compassionate therapist with expertise in helping individuals, couples and families throughout the different stages of life. Kathy uses Emotionally Focused Therapy to help clients overcome marital and family relationship difficulties. In addition, she has vast experience in helping families become more resilient in the face of chronic and progressive illness. Kathy is the co-founder of the Aphasia Centre of Ottawa, and has a special interest in making therapy accessible to families living with communication difficulties that are the result of neurological conditions.
Kathy teaches Family Therapy at Carleton University and is on the Board of the Eastern Branch of Ontario Association of Social Workers
